Lots of things...

I have been slacking at updating my blog the past couple weeks. Let's just say, I'm exhausted! It wasn't really the first thing on my mind each day :) I'm now 33 weeks along and feel like I'm 50! (is that even possible??) I've been having some major back and leg pain, along with intense heartburn and well, basically anything else you can think of, I'm feeling it! I tell ya, this little girl has really given me a hard time over the past 7 and 1/2 months...I can't wait to meet her and I'm a little nervous at how similar she may be to her mama! We have an ultrasound this week to check on her growth. We'll know more about when she'll be here after that. I'm just praying for a healthy baby girl (but seriously, having her early would be FINE BY ME)!! We have finally named this little stinker...Claire Madison. I have been drawn to the name Claire since I found out we were having a girl, for no particular reason, just liked it. Daniel really wanted a part of her name to have some type of meaning so after going through family names, nothing really sounded great with Claire so, Madison is our hometown, where we both grew up and met so...there is some meaning there!

I have lots of pictures to share with you so...here is a little of what I've capture
d the past couple weeks....

A day at the park....I managed to walk with Carson and Olivia (no stroller) to a park right down the street. They did great and held my hand the entire time. We had a good time, but let me tell ya, chasing two toddlers while VERY pregnant, can be challenging!
Next...hat obsession! Carson found this hat the other day in his closet and DID NOT want to take it off...I was ok with that b/c I thought he looked incredibly cute in it. It was chilly here for a week or so when we had a lot of rain, so it didn't make him too toasty.

Parent/tots gymnastics...So, call me crazy but in January I saw that a local rec. center offered parent/tots gymnastics for 6 weeks for extremely affordable. Well, I thought, I'm finally not throwing up every day and it will be so fun to do this with Carson. Little did I know my body would be suffering in a new way when the time came around for it to begin..oh well, we had our first class last Monday and it was a blast! It's fun to meet other moms outside of church and get Carson in something active and social. I was worn out (definitely more than him).

Getting ready to go...

Last post for now...bath-time fun! Carson loves the tub and Daniel is so wonderful to be the primary one who takes care of this at night. Carson is in much need of a haircut, but this makes it fun to do some crazy things with his hair...

Our little reader

Carson can't get enough of his books lately. I'm just glad he hasn't gotten bored with the ones we have. He likes to think that he's making total sense when he reads, and sometimes he will sit on my lap and just "read" forever...or like 10 minutes, but that's a LONG time! He also loves to read to Olivia. Here are a couple videos of him reading and then one has a lot of him labeling pictures in one of his favorite books. They are lengthy videos, so enjoy what you wish :)

Best Friends

Carson can't get enough of playing in his crib lately. Maybe he knows he'll be saying "goodbye" to it soon as we plan to transition him to a big boy bed within the next month or so in preparation for his sister's arrival! He throws some of his toys in there at least once a day and begs "pease, pease" to get in and play. Well, it's even more fun when his best friend, Olivia, is here to join him. Here is a video of them playing and jumping (yes, jumping on the bed). I know it's not the best habit to form this early but it looks like SO much fun! Enjoy...
