He LOVES his Daddy

Carson can't get enough of his daddy lately, I think he's tired of seeing my face all day long. He hears the garage door and just starts yelling out, "dada, dada." It's precious and a nice welcome home to Daniel! Daniel's work isn't finished when get gets home, he has to work on his laptop finishing up his inspection reports. The other night, Carson wanted to be with him so badly, he sat and watched him work, it was cute!
Another thing Carson loves to do with daddy is sweep the floor. After almost every meal that Daniel is here he uses a dustpan to clean up all the crums from the meal (very sweet, I know) and Carson has his own dustpan to help along side him.

Our Silly Boy

No kid likes when their parents use those nasal aspirators to clean out their nose right? Well, Carson likes to think that he can do this himself. Our routine when we do it, which may be more info than you'd like to know, is we lay him on his changing table, put a burp cloth down next to him to use and begin. At times we've had to trap him down so his hands and head can't move, but lately he seems to enjoy it, which is strange. So...being the copycat that Carson has become, he likes to think that he can clean out his own nose and LOVES doing it.

I feel huge

So I haven't posted or shared any pics with anyone in ANY way of my prego belly. That is because I feel HUGE and I still have 3 months to go! Well, I thought some people might care to see so here are a couple from right after Christmas of our growing baby girl(still yet to be named).

Thankfully I am not sick anymore but of course now I am super uncomfortable. The heartburn is insane and a trip to the grocery store exhausts me! The joys of being pregnant! I just can't wait to meet this little stinker! We did find out last week through a follow-up ultrasound that I had to have to check to make sure my placenta had moved up(which it did), that she is measuring a little small. She's still in the normal range but on the low end so, they will do another ultrasound in 5 weeks and see how her growth is. Worse case scenario, if she's not getting proper nutrition on the inside, she will do better on the outside so they would deliver me at 37 weeks. A cause of this might be that my umbilical cord just isn't doing the best job giving her the nutrients she needs to develop her body. She is using most of everything for her brain development. So, nothing to worry about, we just pray she continues to grow and develop normally.

Sledding at Mt. Charleston

The day after Christmas we went up to Mt. Charleston to go sledding! It was a blast. Life can't get any better when you can drive 45 min. to the snow covered mountains, but come back to 55 degree weather! Enjoy some pics from our fun day in the snow!

All bundled up...he could barely move.

Gonna Give this a Try

I have been wanting to make a blog since Carson was born, which was about 21 months ago but was never successful. Here is my attempt to have ONE more location to post pics and keep people updated on "The Newell Crew" here in Las Vegas!

We had a fabulous Christmas that was very low key and relaxing as we stayed out west. Carson enjoyed his new gifts and enjoyed opening them a lot more than last year. I think he knew what was going on this time.

I think his favorite gift had to be his train set, he can't get enough. Every morning when he wakes up he runs straight to it!
